Couples preparing for their wedding have certain "This is it!" moments during their preparations when they find a particular venue or supplier. Our experience meeting Jexter for the first time is a fine example of that.

As we were going through one of the many, many bridal fairs that we attended, we chanced upon this supplier with a foreign-sounding name. He introduced himself as a photographer and artist who sought to capture those very real moments during these special events. We looked over his body of work and appreciated his candor. He was very earnest and passionate about what he does. Jexter not only offered a shooting style which suited our preferences, but also gave very reasonable pricing options. He chose not to shoehorn his packages with bells and whistles which we may not necessarily want, but offered greater customization which could be friendly for the budget-conscious.

Apart from the business side of things, we were struck by his honestly and openness with sharing his vision. Here was a photographer who was not fond of forcing moments into existence, but instead let things happen naturally and found just the right angles to capture the moment. Needles to say, we were hooked. Here was someone who we were comfortable with from the get-go. We promptly booked his services and were relieved that we finally found a wedding photographer who would provide what we thought we would not be able to find, given the current emphasis on making things overly cinematic, "post-worthy", and potentially viral.

Fast forward to the actual event, Jexter and his team were very prompt and professional. They were very respectful to our entourage and guests, and really "did as was advertised". A bit of situational setups were needed to coax this shy couple into producing what would surprisingly turn out to be memorable photos, but nothing was forced and we never felt uncomfortable with them throughout the duration of our event.

We are extremely grateful to Jexter for coming through to deliver exactly as he had promised (and more), and we told him that if we had to pick only one out of all the suppliers we had worked with for the wedding, he would always be our number one choice.

With less than 6 months of wedding planning and we’re so blessed to come across Jexter’s post on Instagram. I instantly connected with his style. Their team is very professional, hands on and most of all intentional, from our prenup photo shoot to our actual wedding day. They made sure we felt comfortable and happy. We’re excited to work with Jexter and his team again to capture our beautiful moments and milestones as a family. I’ve had the privilege of following Jexter's work over the years, and it’s been truly inspiring to witness the evolution of his craft.
